There are three clergy changes in the Diocese of Juneau this summer.
Father Dwight Hoeberechts, O.M.I., Pastor of Saint Gregory Nazianzen parish in Sitka – is appointed by his religious superior, a Parochial Vicar of the Shrine of St. Jude and the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe in New Orleans, Louisiana. I extend our gratitude to Father Dwight for his ministry at St. Gregory Nazianzen parish, and to the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate for their continued commitment to the Diocese of Juneau.
Father Marino Cho, K.M.S., a priest of the Korean Missionary Society and Parochial Vicar of Saint Paul the Apostle parish in Juneau since his arrival in December – is appointed Parochial Administrator of Saint Gregory Nazianzen parish in Sitka.
Father James Wallace, Deacon and Seminarian, Mundelein Seminary in Chicago – Ordained a Priest on June 19, 2020, is temporarily appointed Parochial Vicar of Sacred Heart parish in Wasilla. He will be assisting the pastor of Sacred Heart parish who also serves concurrently as the pastor of four other parishes.
Let us continue to pray for these fine priests as they continue their ministry of service to the people of God.
